The Upstate Catholic Business Network will host our regular Breakfast and Speaker on Wednesday, 23 July.
Our July breakfast speaker is Michael J. Hallisey, M.D. He will be speaking on “Catholics and Longevity, Life and Death: A Catholic View of Corporate Executive Health”.
Michael is a retired physician from Hartford, CT. His son, Michael Davitt, and wife, Denise, own and run THE CHEESE WHEEL, the only Fromagerie in the Upstate. Dr. Hallisey practiced medicine for 35 years and now is a consultant at AIG for Corporate Executive Health. He has done extensive research on human longevity and Corporate Health. Catholic belief is that both life and death should be celebrated, but how should one view longevity as a businessperson, a physician or a family? There are specific behaviors that are associated with longevity that would surprise people. Dr. Hallisey has invented multiple successful medical devices and written 4 thriller novels, most recently, THE BLOOD STREAM. He and Denise have 4 sons and they are parishioners at St. Paul the Apostle in Seneca and St. Mary in Greenville.
Sully’s Steamers will provide breakfast, so please RVSP so that we can give them an accurate headcount. We will meet at the offices of Parallel Financial, 511 Rhett Street, Suite 2A, Greenville, SC 29601. Parking is available in any of the three lots shown in the map below. There may also be some available spots on Rhett Street or Main Street.
We look forward to seeing you!
